YICE highly values the protection of your privacy and the security of personal data. Your personal data will be processed carefully and in accordance with the GDPR and other applicable privacy regulations at all times and only for the purpose for which it was obtained.
We only collect personal data that is necessary for the functioning of the website and our YICE application, maintaining customer relations and personal data that are provided to us via the contact form. Personal data is only kept for as long as is necessary for the purpose is has been given to us or as required by law.
YICE application
We process the following personal data from users of our YICE application:
- Account details: name, company name, position, email address, mobile number, profile picture (optional), password and profile rights in the application
- log files (including logging in, changing and consulting in the application).
Customers can create and delete new users themselves and set retention periods for log files.
Evidence and comments posted by users in the YICE application may also contain personal information. YICE has no insight and control over this. User organizations are themselves controller for this data and YICE the processor.
Contact Form
You can contact us for questions and comments using the contact form on this website. If you use this, we store the e-mail address and other information that you enter in a data file. This information is also automatically provided to us by e-mail, so that we can respond quickly to your question.
Addresses, e-mail addresses and other personal data that you provide to us through this website are used only for the purpose for which you provide them. For example, if you request information on a particular topic, we will use your contact information to send you that information.

YICE makes limited use of cookies. Below we explain which cookies are used and which are not.
Functional cookies:
These are cookies that ensure that this website functions properly. These cookies can be used for:
- remembering information that you enter on the different pages, so that you do not have to enter all your data again and again
- storing preferences, such as language, location, the desired number of search results to be displayed, etc.

No permission is required for functional cookies. These cannot be turned off either.
YICE uses the following functional cookies:
When using the YICE application, session cookies are used. These cookies contain everything that must be remembered within a session after logging into the portal. This prevents the user from having to log in again and again within a session. The session cookie also contains personal data such as e-mail and username. These cookies are automatically deleted as soon as you close your web browser.
Analytical cookies:
These cookies can be used to track traffic on the website and to measure the performance of the website. You should think of:
- tracking the number of visitors to our web pages
- tracking the length of time each visitor spends on our web pages
- viewing the order in which a visitor visits the different pages of our website
- assessing which parts of our site require modification
- optimizing the website
No permission is required to use these cookies, therefore they cannot be turned off. Nevertheless, Yice.nl does not yet use analytical cookies.
Tracking cookies
These cookies are intended to track individual surfing behavior of visitors and thus create profiles to enable targeted advertisements.
This is privacy sensitive information as the visitor is followed during the visit to the website and possibly also afterwards. Permission is always required for the use of tracking cookies.
YICE does not use tracking cookies and does not allow tracking cookies from third parties.
Transfer to third parties
YICE will not share your personal data with or otherwise make it available to third parties at home and abroad, unless transfer to third parties is justified for the purpose of our services or if YICE is obliged to do so by law or court order, for example for the investigation of criminal offenses.
For the purpose of sending an SMS code for two-factor authentication, YICE provides the mobile number of the user to the CM.com for each individual authentication request. CM.com is in this case controller of these personal data.
Transfers outside the EEA
If information is transferred outside the European Economic Area (“EEA”) to an affiliated party or supplier, and to a country where there is also no EU Commission adequacy decision, YICE will ensure that appropriate and appropriate safeguards have been taken such as by closing of standard data protection clauses adopted by the EU Commission, a Privacy Shield certification or the processor’s binding corporate rules.
External service providers (processors)
YICE uses third parties for its services. YICE remains responsible for the processing of the personal data. These external service providers work according to our instructions and YICE has entered into a processing agreement with these companies. These external service providers are obliged to adequately protect the data.
YICE uses the following third-party service providers:
- Yourhosting for hosting our website and platform. Yourhosting is ISO27001 certified and uses data centers in the Netherlands.
- PingOnline for the development and maintenance of the website and Saas application.
Your rights
You can submit a request for access (and copy) of your personal data that is processed by YICE at any time by sending an email to support@yice.nl. You can also request YICE to correct, supplement or delete your personal data.
Changes to the Privacy Statement
This Privacy Statement was last amended on May 11, 2020. YICE reserves the right to amend the Privacy Statement. If the Privacy Statement is radically changed, YICE will report this on its website.
